A Lost and Found Perfume...

I do have a ‘signature’ perfume, which is Coco Chanel, I just adore it. Every time I wear it, it always gets commented on and it makes me feel

dressed to the nine’s even if I’m just in jeans and a T with barely there makeup on I feel enveloped in a cashmere wrap. Even if I only wear the deodorant it still evokes the same feelings.

I do wear it often but not constantly and I felt like I needed a new adventure in fragrance. I have like all women, no doubt, grown up with various different perfumes at various stages throughout my life. The perfume I wore as a teenager, if it were still made, would not be something I’d reach for today. Well I think not! And although I had found Coco Chanel some years ago this is the one perfume that I just go back to time and time again. Which I personally think makes it my signature scent.
There was only one other scent that could sit comfortably next to my Coco bottle, but that was for a very short interlude as it was no longer in production. Not that I knew that at the time…… which was Ferre 20 by Gian Franco and I so wish I could more of this intoxicating scent. But C'est la vie as they say.

I have an array of scents that I do like and know that suit me. As many of you will found some perfumes you love when the lady hands you the spritz on a card to wave and waft under your nose and if the blend of ingredients still please you the next step is to commit to a burst of spray on the wrist and this is where it’s make or break, because your own chemical makeup can ruin the start of beautiful right then and there…….. as a scent that was so full of potential could just a few minutes later be turning your nose and have you running and reaching disappointingly for the soap and water!!
A Great buy from :-

I had looked on various perfume sites and read many articles both in magazines and online but then I was given a gift from my mum which was perfume which is not something that she normal buys. But having bought some perfume for my sister that she had wanted she had taken a risk and bought me some Shalimar by Guerlian which I later found out was one her own favorite’s when she was younger. I have just ordered my second bottle of this from The London PerfumeCompany Ltd  as it was listed at a great price and to be honest I’m looking forward to seeing how they perform as the ordering and payment process was great. You have the option of paying via your PayPal account or via Amazon (if you have an account with them) or via credit card direct of course. If all goes well with them I will certainly be using them again especially with variety of beauty products they had listed.
These are some of my fall back perfumes:-

Red – Dolce & Gabbana (This was but not easy to get a hold of anymore)
Armani Code – Giorgio Armani
Orange – Hugo Boss
Addict – Christian Dior
Dune – Christian Dior

Do you have lots of favourites or a select ‘Signature’ perfume, would love to hear about them.
