Interview Creation...

Had an interview last Friday for a temp job which will last for a couple of months. The agency said it was an informal chat initially but by the end of the phone call I was advised to dust my suit off....... Now I haven't been for an interview in a while (OK I think it's been a year actually) not for lack of trying mind you! But for one thing or another, a permanent job has so far eluded me. So, with the interview booked for the next day

I thought I'd better decide on what to wear to save a last minute (I know it would actually be a couple of hours of panic followed with plenty of swearing and hurling stuff around the spare room......) meltdown. I duly dusted of the suit and then set about looking for a suitable top or blouse to wear with it. First pick was a plain white shirt followed quickly by a fine knit white V neck but not happy with either of these and starting to get that tell tale panicked feeling I remembered the January sale purchase from Next, a Pussy Bow blouse in Jade with the outfit now sorted I turned my attention to jewellery. I wanted a long pendant style necklace to hang over the bow and about the same length.
With nothing in my immediate collection I returned to a necklace that I initially bought from Pia but had never worn it as I didn’t really like the chain and it was an in-between length. So I raided my stock and emblished it with a sterling silver heart and two swavoski crystals and chose a rope chain to put it on. I can honestly say that it will now be worn alot it has the makings of being one of my favourites now.

Oh, by the way I got the role, fingers crossed that goes well for me.

These earrings are my latest additions and will be available from my Folksy shop in the next couple of days. I couldn't resist keeping a pair of these for myself either....ooops

Have you got a 'Go To Piece'? or maybe that one special ring, bracelet or necklace that just seems to bring you luck whatever the occasion?
