It
intrigued me, which is typically French of it. As I couldn’t open it up and languishingly
leaf through the pages as it was sealed with cellophane. But it needn’t have
worried it had me already and of to the till I trotted.
I
couldn’t wait to get home and unwrap this little box of loveliness, and when I
did finally get in and cut the cellophane carefully to expose a beautiful
pastel green box which when opened revealed a velvety book under lilac tissue
paper with golden lined pages.
The
illustrations and photography are wonderful with beautiful china and glassware
setting off the exquisite pastries and puddings. I just hope when I come to
executing the recipes for myself that I can do them justice.
Once I have perfected the famous Macaroons I may well post a picture for you.
This
is a truly gorgeous book and if you love books, cooking and photography, well
you have it all covered in the little gem.
Have
you fallen for a book
Would
love to hear about it and see some pics….
